2012 Pastry Chef of the Year: Gottfried Schuetzenburger

Today, we’re celebrating Gottfried Schuetzenburger, Executive Pastry Chef at Grand Hyatt Singapore, who has been named “2012 Pastry Chef of the Year” by the World Gourmet Summit! He’s also achieved Hall of Fame induction for his consistent nominations, earning “Pastry Chef of the Year” in 2004, 2006 and 2008.

Next year will mark Chef Gottfried’s 30th anniversary with Hyatt, and he is a beloved member and mentor of the family. In just under 30 years he has participated in more than 30 hotel openings (and counting)!
