Andaz Celebrates Local Art and Culture in London
We love Andaz for its commitment to inspiring experiences that reflect the local neighborhoods. So in London, we’re especially in love with Andaz Liverpool Street‘s Room with a View bespoke street art series inspired by the culture of the local area. The hotel is now offering guests an artistic experience in four of their Large King guest rooms where each room features work from a different artist and their individual interpretation of East London’s past, present or future.
The first of the four rooms is created by Londoner Chris Price and his wife and collaborator Delisia Howard. An accomplished illustrator and author, Chris has had exhibitions all around the world, including London, Australia and Mexico, while Delisia’s East London upbringing makes for a lifetime of memories which is reflected in her work.
The second artist is Patrick Vale, whose creative piece will be launched in early October. Patrick is renowned for his work based on cities and architecture, and recently released a time lapsed film “Empire State of Pen” featuring a freehand drawing of the view of Manhattan from the Empire State Building.
The next mural to be launched will be from artist ILoveDust, which will be ready for guests in January next year. The multi-disciplinary artist, based on the south coast of England, is known for fresh, innovative illustrations and graphic designs, aimed at delighting our senses.
The final room will be ready between April to July is from artist Patrick Morgan, an internationally renowned British artist. Patrick’s works explore various themes from pop culture to modern living, with his previous work including projects for Coca-Cola and Starbucks.
For the art fans out there, these four rooms offer a unique experience and are certainly not to be missed – be sure to book quickly to avoid disappointment!
