Thrive Thursday: India Swaps Ice for Rice with #RiceBucketChallenge

This summer, the #ALSIceBucketChallenge took over. Everyone from celebrities to business leaders and even Hyatt’s own President and CEO Mark Hoplamazian poured buckets of ice water over their heads in support of the cause. In the end, more than $100 million was raised for the ALS Association.

Better yet: there are many unique things found at farmers markets that represent the local culture. When I spoke with our colleagues, here’s what they said are the benefits of their farmers markets for guests, colleagues, and the local community.
