Hyatt RSVP Brings Hyatt Gold Passport Members a Purple Pig Exclusive

Hyatt Gold Passport members are our most loyal guests, and we’re always cooking up new ways to reward them for their loyalty. Thanks to the program’s many relationships, the opportunities keep growing, whether that’s new benefits in Las Vegas or special access to events.

That’s why we’ve launched Hyatt RSVP. It’s a series of events through Hyatt Gold Passport’s relationship with Visa Signature to recognize our valued Hyatt Gold Passport members by offering invitations to exclusive events, from movie screenings to winemaker dinners to sports packages.

Just last week, a number of elite Hyatt Gold Passport members right here in Chicago were invited to a fabulous dinner at the famed Purple Pig. The open kitchen layout made members feel more like they were at a friend’s home than an award-winning restaurant. What better way to get to know another fellow traveler than over spoonfuls of grilled octopus and fried eggplant with cheese and pork fried almonds?

By the time the main culinary adventure began, members were already toasting sparkling wine and chardonnay as if they were old friends. And if they’re anything like me, they sure left full! Chef Jimmy Bannos Jr. truly outdid himself with exquisitely plated Monkfish with Lentils, Confit of Turkey Wing with Crispy Lentils and Agrodolce and Pomegranate and Honey Glazed Rib Tips with Cauliflower and Mint. A few favorite wine pairings from Rodney Strong Vineyards and Davis Bynum Vineyards were the 2012 Davis Bynum Pinot Noir and the 2010 Dry Creek Valley Malbec. It all topped off with a delicious Chocolate Mousse Tart with Hazelnut Crust!
