Hyatt Teams are Thriving During Month of Service

We are more than half way through Hyatt’s global month of service and our hotels are buzzing.  This week was particularly special with many hotels turning their Earth Day celebrations into hands-on service projects.  Check out the stories below for a glimpse of this week’s action.  For a complete picture of our collective efforts, be sure to visit

In addition to Global Month of Service, April 1st is National One Cent Day. So the hotel team placed mason jars in each department and collected donations through April 19th. With the funds raised, the team bought books to tie in with National Kindergarten Day on April 21st. Determining which organization to partner with was a no brainer as the hotel holds an Annual Reading with Children on the Green, a nonprofit child care center within walking distance of the hotel. The students were overjoyed when both groups were able to leave the books that they read!
