On the heels of our newest hotel opening in Chongqing this week, we are excited to share plans for Hyatt Place Manatí in Manatí, Puerto Rico. This is the second Hyatt Place hotel under development in Puerto Rico, joining Hyatt Place Bayamón and El Tropical Casino in Bayamón.
A Hyatt Place presence in the Caribbean is integral as we continue with plans to expand the select-service brand worldwide. Today, there are more than 165 Hyatt Place hotels open in the United States, and more than 35 are already under development throughout the Europe, the Caribbean, China, Latin America, Southwest Asia, and the Middle East.

Manatí is headquarters to a host of multinational corporations and pharmaceutical companies, as well as the Manatí Medical Center and Doctors’ Center Manatí, two of Puerto Rico's most prestigious hospitals.
Hyatt Place Manatí - expected to open in early 2014 - will have 104 guest rooms in a five-story building, with an adjoining 11,500-square-foot casino, and a free-standing casual dining restaurant. Guests can expect:
