Hot off the press: We just announced plans today for a new hotel - Hyatt Place Omaha Downtown/Old Market. With our Worldwide Reservations Center that provides customer service and sales support for all Hyatt hotels already based in Omaha, this means we'll get to add to our Nebraska Hyatt family with the new hotel's opening in 2014!

Our first Hyatt-branded hotel in Nebraska will be in the historic Old Market district (see where it gets its name?), known for street musicians, boutiques and cobblestone streets. On the corner of Jackson Street and 12^th Street, it'll be right among all things fun: dining, shopping, and nightlife. It will even be close to meeting facilities.

For college baseball fans, the new hotel will be just a mile from Ameritrade Park Omaha, new home of the College World Series. For others, it's only two miles from the city's impressive Henry Doorly Zoo that puts visitors of all ages face-to-face with gorillas.

Travelers can already stay at the more than 160 Hyatt Place hotels open across the United States, and we're looking forward to seeing more pop up - both inside and outside the U.S. Stay tuned for more from Hyatt Place this year!
