The hotel was given this award for demonstrating its social responsibility through minimizing its environmental impact, improving the quality of life in its neighboring communities and initiating and participating in philanthropic activities.
In its fourth year, The World Savers Awards honors travel companies from around the world for their leadership in social responsibility in five key areas, including education, environment and/or cultural preservation, health, poverty relief, and wildlife conservation.
