Sara Kate set up shop from HYATT house King of Prussia this week, sharing her secrets for making the road feel like home

Earlier this week, you heard about all the fun festivities at our 53 HYATT house hotels for their 53 days of housewarming. As a part of this celebration, each guest who checks in during those 53 days will receive a housewarming gift from our lifestyle expert, Sara Kate Gillingham-Ryan. The gift is a hotel handbook filled with tips for living comfortably on the road, along with simple recipes to whip up in any HYATT house Kitchen Suite.
We're so excited that for the first time, Sara Kate is taking her expertise on the road with us -- in fact, this past week, Sara Kate shared her tips and recipes with travelers on news stations across the U.S. Check out this great TV clip where Sara Kate tells us about all the ways we can feel more at home while we're traveling. Plus, she'll also let you in on some easy ways to save money while you're traveling this spring or summer.
Here's another great recipe from Sara Kate that we think is perfect for your Friday happy hour!
Watermelon Mojito
serves 4
1/3 cup diced seedless watermelon
5 fresh mint leaves, plus 1 small sprig for garnish
2 teaspoons sugar
2 lime wedges
Crushed ice
4-6 tablespoons dark rum
Sparkling water
In a tall glass, combine the watermelon, mint leaves, sugar and lime wedges. Using a cocktail muddler or the end of a wooden spoon, pulverize the ingredients in the bottom of the glass until
the watermelon is a coarse puree, pressing on the solids to extract as much of the flavorful oils from the mint leaves and juice from the lime wedges as possible.
Add a handful of crushed ice and the rum. Top off with the sparkling water and stir gently. Garnish with the mint sprig and serve.
