At Hyatt, we're lucky enough to share in many special moments of our guests' lives. And occasionally, we even get to be a part them. This Valentine's Day, we'll take the opportunity to share a few of our favorite heart warmers.
Shula's Steakhouse inside Hyatt Regency Houston was the scene of a carefully-crafted marriage proposal. Over the course of six months, the hopeful groom-to-be hand folded 1,000 origami cranes. Thanks to some planning, the restaurant carefully laid the colorful cranes in a pathway to a private table for two ahead of their arrival. She said yes!

Recently, a guest's husband ordered a dozen roses and a massage for his wife staying at Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill for business. He knew she'd be busy and under stress, so he wanted to do something nice for her since he couldn't be there himself. At the end of her long day of meetings, she was surprised with flowers and relaxation.

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina was contacted about a tour of the hotel and room reservation because the caller's girlfriend's parents had been married at the hotel 25 years prior. Once there, he proposed to her out on Bayside Lawn and had their parents meet them for dinner. The couple kept the tradition alive and was later married on the property, too.

A couple met one year at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek while enjoying s'mores around the fire pit and started dating from that moment. When he was ready to propose, the gentleman brought his girlfriend back to their original meeting place - fire pit and all - and she said yes! Once they began their lives together, the husband called to request to purchase that exact fire pit from the hotel.

One of Hyatt Regency Atlanta guests planned a romantic picnic on the roof of the atrium for her and her husband. As they were eating, she arranged for a plane to fly over announcing that her husband was going to be a father. They're now proud parents of a beautiful daughter.

After reaching out to Hyatt Regency Chicago on Twitter, the hotel and a guest planned out the perfect proposal. After the successful proposal, he pulled out their "Will You Marry Me?" and "I Said YES!" t-shirts, and they headed to an outdoor Chicago concert. The hotel made sure the room was decorated from doorway to pillow for their return.
