Do you remember the kids' menus of your childhood, which always had those same-old chicken tenders, hamburgers and french fries? We're throwing that all out the window as we continue with our new food and beverage philosophy, Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served., introduced in May. And our new "For Kids By Kids" menu isn't a shake-your-finger, "eat your veggies before you can be excused" approach - this menu was kid tasted and kid approved!

"For Kids By Kids" was inspired by research into today's sophisticated young foodies, who want exciting, interactive food that is more like what they could get on the grown up menu. We worked with 11-year-old cooking enthusiast Haile Thomas - leading her own healthy eating campaign - to create fun, fresh and flavorful dishes for our youngest diners. Haile and her friends joined us at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch for a tasting session to help us identify favorite dishes, which ended up on the final menu!

With "For Kids By Kids," we're continuing our commitment to Partnership for a Healthier America and their goal of making the healthy choice the easy choice. We were also fortunate to work with food pioneer and chef Alice Waters, who created a 3-course organic menu exclusively for Hyatt that will be added to the "For Kids By Kids" offerings in August.

The new menu will be available at all of our full service hotels in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, and we're really excited to share it with you and your families!
