We've been long excited about the ongoing $70 million renovation at Grand Hyatt San Francisco, right in the heart of the city's Union Square. But now that we have seen the finished product first hand, we can't stop talking about it.
The entire property is new, including a sky-high Grand Club Lounge and a new look for the 660 guestrooms. We gushed over the hotel's completely transformed lobby - a comfortable and cozy area that makes us want to plop down with a book for hours. Can you blame us?

Plus, we're crazy about the warm outdoor area where you can sit fireside and soak in the city surroundings.

But perhaps most exciting of all, the hotel unveiled the brand new OneUP Restaurant & Lounge complete with a food truck!

For the next two months, you can catch the city's first hotel-operated food truck around the city to sample Executive chef Ian Libberton and Chef De Cuisine Adam Nichol's Bay Area-inspired American bistro culinary creations.

Guests will love OneUP's open kitchen design and lounge area perfect for sipping the array of hand-crafted cocktails, including the restaurant's coming-soon OneUP Whiskey from local distillery Charbay. Tapping into the freshest products from local and regional purveyors, signature dishes may include: Marin Sun Farms Lamb Bourguignon with house-made pappardelle, hedgehog mushrooms, pearl onions, parsnips and lemon-mint pistou; and Milk Poached Niman Ranch Pork and Beans in white bean cassoulet with crispy shallots, pickled apple and arugula.
And how could we leave out the influence of San Francisco's music culture? In addition to a rock-and-roll-inspired private lounge, OneUP lounge will feature both live music and top Bay Area DJs Tuesday through Saturday in addition to providing a backdrop for the launch of local, up-and-coming artists through monthly events.

Be sure to share when you've spotted the OneUP food truck!
