It's been another eventful week at Hyatt as we've announced plans for two hotels - Park Hyatt Siem Reap and Hyatt Place Bayamón and El Tropical Casino. As Hyatt continues to expand its brands worldwide, these hotels make for exciting additions!

Park Hyatt Siem Reap

We want to grow in destinations where our guests are traveling. That's why we're thrilled to add to the growing number of Hyatt-branded hotels in Southeast Asia. After closing for a complete renovation, Park Hyatt Siem Reap is expected to open in 2013. The Cambodia hotel will offer 107 guestrooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, a retail bakery, meeting facilities, spa, fitness center and two swimming pools.

For convenience, guests will be a short distance from Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, Cambodia's second largest airport. But it's a great place for fascinating sight seeing, too. The hotel will be nearby the renowned 12th century ruins of Angkor, a UNESCO World Heritage site that researchers believe was one of the largest preindustrial cities in the world. There are more than 1,000 temples in the area, including Angkor Wat, the world's largest single religious monument.

Hyatt Place Bayamón and El Tropical Casino

Hyatt Place Bayamón and El Tropical Casino marks the introduction of the Hyatt Place brand in Puerto Rico. A little geography for you: Bayamón, the island's second most populous city, is located 15 miles southwest of San Juan. Expected to open in the first quarter of 2014, the hotel will be a seven-story building offering 156 guestrooms with an adjoining casino, free-standing restaurant and bar, more than 2,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, an outdoor swimming pool, and a multi-level parking garage. It'll be next to the 42-acre Luis A. Ferré Science Park and also be close to the city's largest shopping mall.

Big things are happening for our Hyatt Place brand. Currently, there are more than 160 locations in the United States, and travelers will be able to stay at Hyatt Place hotels outside North America soon with anticipated 2012 openings in India and Costa Rica.
