Where to Watch Fireworks This Independence Day

So now that you know where to find all the fun this Fourth of July holiday, you're probably wondering where you can catch some fireworks. We're happy to say that we've got that covered, too. As promised, here's a glimpse of some Hyatt locations to check out if you're on the hunt for some Independence Day sparkle.

Bonita Springs, Florida

Boats depart from the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa Marina at 7:30 p.m. on July 4 and return at 11 p.m. Call All Water Excursions at 239-594-0213 to make reservations.

Boston, Massachusetts

Independence Day is magnified in Boston, a city with such rich American history. Right along the river, Hyatt Regency Cambridge is just a short walk to the perfect vantage point for the city's fireworks display. Plus, Hyatt Regency Boston is a 15-minute walk to the Boston Pops fireworks and performances on historic Freedom Trail.

Carlsbad, California

As dusk approaches, guests can gather at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort's pool area for the 9:00 p.m. private fireworks show!

Key West, Florida

Guests staying at Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa can enjoy Key West's Annual Fourth of July fireworks display, launched off the White Street pier.

Scottsdale, Arizona

At Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch, enjoy the hotel's July 4 fireworks display from a gondola! And, you'll get a bottle of champagne (and a non-alcoholic "sparkly" for kids) to enjoy on the ride. Contact the hotel at 800-55-HYATT to make a required reservation in advance.

Jacksonville, Florida

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront is considered one of the best locations in town to view the City of Jacksonville fireworks over St. Johns River. These are special fireworks, choreographed to a patriotic song!

Newport, Rhode Island

The July 4 Picnic at Hyatt Regency Newport Hotel and Spa is located at the Pavilion from 6-9 p.m. and gives guests front row seats to the city's fireworks display set off from Ft. Adams. In addition to the unobstructed views of Newport Harbor, guests can load up on a full buffet and participate in a variety of lawn games. Who doesn't love balloon toss? San Antonio, Texas

Beginning at 8 p.m., celebrate at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa's Red, White and Blue Patriotic Parade, complete with horses, marching bands, wagon floats, and decorated bikes! Additionally, heroes from the Wounded Warriors and Operation Homefront programs will be honored. It all caps off with a Patriotic Fireworks Spectacular at 9 p.m. at the parade route's end on the golf course.

St. Louis, Missouri

Under the famous Gateway Arch and right across the street from Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, watch the US Bank/Enterprise Rent-A-Car Fireworks that begin at 9:20 p.m. All the Fair Saint Louis performances and festivities are free!

Washington, D.C.

What a better place for Fourth of July than the nation's capital? For those staying at any of our D.C.-area hotels, fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. and are launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and over the Washington Monument. The best spots on the National Mall are between the U.S. Capitol and 14^th Street, so stake out early! Otherwise, check out the fireworks from the Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima) in Arlington, areas along the Virginia side of the Potomac River, or the Air Force Memorial.
