The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza team assembling bikes for Para Los Ninos

Today we're featuring a holiday-inspired Employee Accolades blog post, which acknowledges the entire staff at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
The hotel recently held its annual holiday party, and this year, they decided to not only celebrate their own employees, but to also celebrate local residents by giving back to the community.
As a part of the evening, hotel associates worked in groups to build 15 bicycles for teenagers in the community who needed a way to get to their after school jobs. All 15 children were selected through an organization called Para Los Ninos, a Los Angeles based nonprofit agency that provides child care, schooling, and other services to at-risk children and their families.
As many of the Century Plaza associates told us, the best part of their holiday party was seeing the smiling faces of the Para Los Ninos teenagers, who were brought to the hotel and surprised with their Christmas gifts.
Check out the great pictures below of the teens receiving their bikes! We also wanted to send a big thank you to Hyatt Regency Century Plaza for spreading the holiday spirit around their community!
