Not many people know that Chicago – which we think is one of the greatest cities in the world! – is home to Hyatt's global headquarters. However, as you may have heard, we're experiencing a significant cold spell, with wind chills taking the temperature to sub-zero levels. So, for today's Hyatt Friday photo, we decided to try for some vicarious warmth and sunshine by exploring photos of Hyatt's resort locations around the world.

If you have been lucky enough to visit any of our resort locations, you know how beautiful they are, but the lagoon at Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa (pictured below) in particular made us long for a warm sea breeze.

This saltwater lagoon, which spans nearly two acres, can be found between the Pacific Ocean and the resort's lazy river pool. Here, guests can kayak, swim or just float the day away. For those who worked up an appetite relaxing in the lagoon or pool, The Dock, which offers casual poolside dining, is just steps away.
