Today's Hyatt Friday Photo is all about – you guessed it – Thanksgiving! We're continuing to feature the great recipes from our hotels around the country, and today, we're bringing you a Thanksgiving tradition from Manfred Lassahn, executive chef at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
Growing up, every Thanksgiving for Manfred included eating cranberries out the can. Mandred decided that there were so many ways to showcase the versatility of cranberries around Thanksgiving, which led to his famous Cranberry Bar, which has become a tried and true tradition at the hotel.
The Cranberry Bar, which is only available on Thanksgiving Day during the hotel's brunch, consists of 10 different cranberry preparations. From Cranberry Apple Relish, to Cranberry Ginger Pear Chutney, to Cranberry with Sun Dried Fig, the options are endless and guaranteed to hit the spot.
Today we're giving you the recipe to the Cranberry Bar's most popular and most requested item – Jalapeno Cranberry Sauce. You'll be surprised at just how simple and how delicious this recipe is!
