The basement at Hyatt at The Bellevue is 107 years old and like many basements, it lacked a little charm. So, as part of the re-beautification of "B2" (2 floors underground) employees took a cue from Philadelphia's popular Art Mural Program and decided to create a mural. To show their Philly pride, employees collaborated on a skyline which highlights the city's best features including the Grande Dame of Broad St., their own historic Bellevue building. The most noted building is City Hall, which boasts a clock tower and statue of the city's founding Father, William Penn. Creatively, the employees added a working clock in the mural as an added feature.
