The new NoMI Kitchen overlooking Michigan Avenue

Eat well, be well, live well. That's the new motto for the brand new NoMI, which reopens today on Park Hyatt Chicago's seventh floor.
But we're not just talking today about the reopening of the new restaurant – we're talking about a complete evolution that has transformed NoMI into a lifestyle brand with four new elements: NoMI Kitchen, NoMI Lounge, NoMI Garden, and NoMI Spa. Today's Hyatt Friday Photo gives you an inside look at a celebration held earlier this week with Chicago community members to mark this exciting new chapter for NoMI.
NoMI Kitchen is the centerpiece of Park Hyatt Chicago's overall seventh floor renovation, which includes a redesign of the kitchen, lounge, private dining spaces, garden and the new NoMI Spa. The restaurant takes cues from the most important part of any home: the kitchen, a place where friends and family gather and a place to celebrate everyday occasions.
The restaurant's new design is elegant and simple, featuring a new Molteni stove in the open kitchen, an artisanal cheese cave in the lounge, a new teak wood bar on the outdoor NoMI Garden terrace, and a comfortable and approachable atmosphere rich with warm hues and tones.
This simple and elegant design is also reflected in the menu created by Executive Chef Ryan LaRoche, a Chicago native and CIA graduate. While changing seasonally, the menu will always remain rooted in high-quality, fresh and flavorful dishes that celebrate the Chicago restaurant's new partners: local farmers, ranchers, cheese makers and artisans.
Chef LaRoche has been collaborating with his team to offer new and exciting selections, like an expanded "Ocean Bar" featuring oysters and shellfish, as well as new crudo and ceviches in addition to the signature NoMI sushi we've all come to know and love.
A "Simply Prepared" section of the menu offers Market Fish, Maine Lobster, Yorkshire Pork Porterhouse, Prime New York Strip, Rack of Lamb paired with a variety of seasonal side dishes like Foraged Mushrooms, Handmade Tagliatelle, House Cut Kenebec Frites, among others. And the new "To Share" section offers items for three or more people, such as Poached TJ's Farm Chicken, farm raised from Pennsylvania, and Roasted Bone-in Dry Aged Prime Ribeye.
In addition to the new NoMI Kitchen, today also marks the opening of NoMI Spa, a new spa concept designed to help guests savor the Chicago seasons through drink, aromatherapy and taste. Each spa visit starts with a relaxing organic tea to unwind and relax, followed by a custom aromatherapy blend of herbs and botanicals used during a personalized service. Every good visit must end with a treat, and at the conclusion of every service, spa guests can enjoy small bites created by Chef LaRoche.
In addition to spa menu specialties like the Premier Body Treatment, Lake Stone Massage and massages, facials, waxing services, manis and pedis, NoMI Spa will also be the only spa in Chicago to offer the Hydrafacial, which is a non-laser skin resurfacing treatment.
We are very excited about today's launch of the new NoMI brand, which showcases its commitment to the culture of great food, great service and great experiences.
NoMI Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. For more information or reservations, please call 312.335.1234 or visit the restaurant's website. NoMI Spa will be open from 8am to 8pm daily. For more information or reservations, please call 312.239.4200 or visit the spa website.
