Big Sister Lety and her Little Sister Mery participate in the School to Work program at Hyatt Regency Coral Gables

Nothing gets us in the holiday spirit more than giving back, and this year, our Hyatt Gold Passport program is doing just that.
In honor of our most loyal members, Hyatt Gold Passport is making a $25,000 holiday donation to an organization in one of our local communities around the world in our members' names. With the help of our hotels, we've identified Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami as the recipient of the $25,000 donation. This non-profit organization supports Hyatt Thrive's critical pillar of education and personal advancement and helps thousands of children each year through professionally supported, one-on-one relationships with caring adult volunteers.
Hyatt Regency Coral Gables knows from personal experience just how special Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami is. Hotel associates have been huge advocates of the organization by serving as mentors in the School to Work program, which allows high school students to gain real-time hospitality industry experience at the hotel. In fact, one of the graduates of the program from Hyatt Regency Coral Gables has the highest grade point average of all 120 School to Work graduates!
In addition to this donation, Hyatt has given nearly $350,000 this year to non-profit organizations throughout the world through its Hyatt Community Grant program, which empowers associates to guide charitable giving in their local communities.
We are thankful to have the opportunity to donate to such a great cause, and we wish all of our Hyatt Gold Passport members, as well as all of the Big Brothers Big Sisters kids a very happy holiday season!
