Best known for its royal history, grand pageantry, delectable cuisine and enchanting parks, London has become the top tourist capital of the world! Although it may be large in size, London cherishes its local neighborhood vibe, as the city is made up of small, quaint villages each with their own character and charm. Erick’s pride in the city comes from his appreciation for the vast range of nationalities and cultures that are found there from all over the world, as London offers something exceptional for everyone!

Whether it’s seeing a show at the Royal Court Theatre in Sloan Square, stopping by Brick Lane for wonderful bagels and baltis, or enjoying a drink at local hangout The Grazing Goat, Erick knows exactly what London hot-spots to recommend his guests.

If it is a guest’s first time visiting London, of course Erick encourages them to see the classic sights, like experiencing the famous Changing of The Guards ceremony at Buckingham Palace, or taking a river cruise along the Thames. However, for those who want to explore other exclusive London attractions, Erick recommends visiting the British Museum for world collections, or the South Bank, which he raves to be a fantastic spot for soaking up the delightful atmosphere during the early evenings and weekends in the summer.

Kenwood House and Kew Gardens are also city treasures, great for packing a picnic and watching a concert. Also stop at Colombia Road Flower Market on Sundays for fresh flowers and excellent sausage sandwiches, or enjoy an afternoon tea in The Montagu.

Hoping to catch the sunset with a beautiful view of the city? Erick tells his guests to visit Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park or Harrow – easily the best spots in town with the finest views.

Looking for a restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty, signature dish of London? Erick recommends checking out Rules for scrumptious kidney pies, or Golden Hind for classic fish and chips. Erick also suggests Umu for excellent Japanese cuisine, or Amaya for Indian. Oh, and don’t forget to swing by Maggie Jones for some delicious British comfort food!

After a full day of site-seeing and devouring the local grub, Erick suggests stopping for a dirty martini in Covent Garden Piazza, or continuing your night on the town to one of the swanky clubs in Soho, such as The Friendly Society or Milk & Honey.

Thanks to expert concierge Erick, guests of Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill have an insider eye to the city’s best spots for both first time or frequent London visitors. Be sure to stop in and say hello while you’re there!
