Loyal Friends: The Adventures of Jeff and Freddie
No one loves a Freddie more than Hyatt Gold Passport Vice President Jeff Zidell. In fact, leading up to this year’s Freddie Awards – awards recognizing the most preferred travel loyalty programs worldwide – Jeff spent some quality time with his Freddies in his hometown of Chicago. Take a look at how these “besties” spent their day enjoying the benefits of Hyatt Gold Passport Diamond membership.
First, they took the ‘el’ train to the Loop for an early morning breakfast meeting.
From there, the pair headed over to the Regency Club at Hyatt Regency Chicago where Jeff picked Freddie’s brain for the next big idea in loyalty.
There’s nothing that helps the creative juices flow like a little piano playing. So, naturally, Jeff serenaded Freddie with his rendition of “What A Wonderful World.”
The pals shot a game of pool to keep the blood flowing as they jotted down their ideas. Jeff didn’t want to hurt Freddie’s feelings, so he “let him” win.
After a successful brainstorm, they headed back up to the Regency Club and toasted over Jeff’s favorite drink, dirty martinis.
Jeff showed Freddie his favorite YouTube videos, thanks to the complimentary Internet offered by his elite Hyatt Gold Passport membership.
It wasn’t long before they wanted a change of scenery. So they packed up and strolled down the Magnificent Mile to Park Hyatt Chicago. Check-in was speedy with a dedicated area for elite members.
Freddie insisted on one last Harlem Shake video, so they powered up the laptop against a gorgeous view of the city’s historic Water Tower.
After a productive day, they celebrated with another round at NoMI Lounge. This time, they shared.
When Jeff wasn’t looking, Freddie busted into NoMI’s hot chocolate bar for a cool weather treat.
