Pura Vida: Andaz Celebrates Its Foray Into Latin America

Just before the end of the year, the second resort location for the Andaz brand celebrated its grand opening at Andaz Peninsula Papagayo.  The gorgeous surrounding picturesque Peninsula Papagayo in North West Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region is a sight to see!

Buzzing with excitement, the entire resort team gathered outside Andaz Peninsula Papagayo on the eve of the official opening of the resort.

The traditional folkloric performance of ‘Mascarada’ was brought on property at Andaz Peninsula Papagayo to delight the staff in preparation of the new opening and to bring good fortune to the hotel. This celebration was inspired by the beloved Costa Rican custom of Fiestas Patonales, which is a celebration to honor the patron saint of each town . It’s usually celebrated each year on October 31.
