Welcome to Cambodia Park Hyatt!

Did you know that Cambodia has the only national flag in the world that has an image of a building? Did you know that in Cambodia, the head is considered as the highest part of the body and shouldn’t be touched? Did you know that Cambodia has been changing its name whenever a new government has been installed? Did you know that birthdays aren’t celebrated in Cambodia and most elderly people don’t know their age?

And did you know that Cambodia is now home to the newest Park Hyatt hotel? We are always excited to expand our brand presence into new areas where we know our guests are traveling, and today, we’re taking the Park Hyatt brand to Siem Reap, Cambodia. This hotel will mark the fourteenth Hyatt property in Southeast Asia and the very first Hyatt hotel in Cambodia.

The hotel, which was formerly known as Hotel De La Paix (one of Cambodia’s top rated hotels), underwent a fourteenth month top-to-bottom renovation by award-winning interior designer Bill Bensley. Park Hyatt Siemp Reap is located in the heart of the city’s downtown area with easy access to the town’s largest old market, several night markets and the bustling and eclectic restaurant and shopping district.

The hotel features 108 newly renovated guestrooms, including 13 suites, with four of them showcasing private plunge pools. Its design and dome-shaped ceiling is reminiscent of the interior towers of Angkor War, a temple complex in Cambodia that is the largest religious monument in the world. Everywhere guests turn, they will be reminded of Cambodia’s vibrant culture and rich history, from the Khmer-inspired art to the hotel’s dramatic white facade.

Park Hyatt Siem Reap features several food and beverage outlets that serve up traditional Khmer and French provincial cuisine. Plus, the hotel has a beautiful zen-inspired spa featuring a lap pool and swimming pool surrounded by giant trees and green tiles to mimic a Southeast Asian lagoon.

We are so excited to bring the Park Hyatt brand to Cambodia to provide guests with rare and intimate experiences that create a truly memorable trip.
